We understand that people are not sitting in our pews watching Netflix, playing games, or visiting naughty sites. We understand you know how to silence your phone. We understand it is very likely your Bible, Hymnal, and primary way to communicate with others, during the service, in a way that will not disrupt others sitting around you.
God can’t be alive in dead things like history, manuscripts, and archeological relics if He is not alive and kicking in the love and compassion of Believers. There is more substance of evidence in the life of an addict who finds sobriety in Christ, than in finding the foundation of an ancient wall in Jericho.
We all must, as Bible-believing, liberty-loving Christians, stand up and demand that the Government get out of our pulpit, out of our Bible, and out of the business of justifying political policy with subjective interpretations of our Bible! We must not forsake our liberty of religious freedom, by handing over our religious understanding to the State to use, even if with good intentions, lest we find that Caesar is the only version of God we have left!
The authority in true cults is not given to a broad base of leaders, but is almost always centered on a central, hierarchical figure who rules, reinterprets truth, and hands out lavish rewards to the “Faithful” and harsh rebuke and punishment of dissenting and independent thinkers.

This blog post highlights the history of the struggle, with a particular emphasis on developments of the last 2000 years. Despite our human tendencies, God proposes self-governance, not centralized power, as His preferred solution to sin-induced chaos.
Think before you click. Think more before you get upset. Think even more before you buy into the emotional hook of a fake story. And think best before you share because it is not your name you embarrass, it is the credibility of those bearing the Gospel that is a stake. Don’t be duped into doing the devil’s deeds.
The same old lies and justifications came flooding back. “Jesus, knows things we don’t,” and “There had be some level of repentance in Mathew” and “Jesus couldn’t help that the other tax collectors came.” And lastly, crux of what I call the “lie,” someone said, “Pastor, Jesus would never let someone follow Him unless they were truly repentant.” That was a lie!
Nabeel, fought Christ the whole way through his journey to Truth. But, when he got to his wits’ end, he would pray and ask Allah to show him how to refute error, or to know the truth about Islam. Each time, “Allah” would lead him deeper into Christian truth. Eventually, Allah started sending Nabeel, clearer and clearer visions and dreams, that, even when decoded by his Muslim mother, was screaming at Nabeel: “Jesus is the only way to God. To be with God, is to accept Jesus as the Savior from our sins. “
Shame, and shaming, only exposes our own noir de nadir fears, that perhaps their doubt is true, and that Jesus won’t show up, and our only option it to silence them, with force if necessary, before it spreads. Understand though, if you engage in such nonsense it is because you lack faith in the ability of Jesus to show up and prove himself.
Manson is the image that first comes to mind when someone says, “cult leader” or “mass killer” or “human evil.” Rightfully so, because his type of evil is both rare and petrifying; but is it really the greatest evil my generation has seen? In a way, iconic evil is the way we scapegoat evil human nature by replacing it with iconic figures so we don't have to notice our own level of evil.
Putting the Life back in Pro-life!
Remeber, the Church cannot sit idly by, claiming to be pro-life...To be pro-life means to be pro-life for the entire life of the child, not just the first nine months that lead up to birth.
Four people tell our experiences with controversy regarding the removal of the Confederate Flag and other Confederate memorials from our nation, state, and culture. Its goal is not to preach but to share emotional impact through story and experience.
I remember when I was in India doing evangelism with a group of pastors. We baptize just under seven thousand Hindus into Christianity. I literally took part in a baptism service by a river bank in India that went on from sunup to sundown and never ended nor finished. It makes me think, there is so much work left to be done. Who is going to do it?
This is an emotional rollercoaster of a short story about how God can heal the most tragedic of all human suffering. It is a tale of how even as we literally teeter between life and death with all eternity in the balance God knows all, God sees all, and God calls many "saviors" to our aide but not all are willing to be "Driven."
